Last Wednesday July 22nd we under took our very first public tree planting! We planted two sites located on the cycle path that runs along side the new express running north from the Hamilton Wintec on Avalon Drive. We are really excited by the opportunity to plant our first two sites with fruit baring trees and shrubs soon. We met with Rich from Fulton Hogan and Andrea from the Chiefs yesterday to discuss the project. We are aiming to get the first spades in the ground on 22nd June!
